Yudh Abhyas 2026, Auli
Thursday, September 17, 2026
During ‘Yudh Abhyas 2026’ in Auli, soldiers of the Indian and U.S. armies trained together for counter-terrorism operations. They conducted building-clearance and room-intervention drills, which were designed keeping close-quarter combat situations in mind.
These drills included assault teams assisted by drones, robotic dogs, dog squads, and snipers. This demonstrated the synergy between specially trained troops and technology during counter-terrorism operations. U.S. Army soldiers also interacted with the participating troops and inspected the equipment, better understanding the capabilities and techniques displayed during the exercise.
This training further strengthened the exchange of professional knowledge, strategic understanding, and interoperability between the two armies.
