The Chief Minister said that Late Heera Singh Bisht Ji was an experienced public leader who dedicated his entire public life to the problems of the common people and their resolution. He will always be remembered for his deep connection with common people along with his position and responsibilities.The Chief Minister said that Late Bisht Ji started his public life from student politics emerging from an ordinary family. After that, he discharged various responsibilities as Gram Pradhan, Block Pramukh, MLA and Minister. Throughout this political journey, the problems of the common man and public concerns remained at the centre of his work. Especially his attachment towards workers and hardworking people was a major identity of his personality. He strengthened the voice of people struggling for their livelihood and rights.The Chief Minister said that Late Bisht Ji understood the problems of the weaker and needy sections of society and made continuous efforts for their resolution.
Many families will still remember him as a public leader who was always ready to listen to their problems and stand up for their rights.The Chief Minister said that in political life, ideologies and ways of working may be different, but dedication towards the public is a matter of respect for all of us. Late Bisht Ji’s outspokenness, experience and his commitment towards public concerns will always be remembered with respect. He played an important role from the separate Uttarakhand state movement to the development of the state. Even as a Minister, his contribution in public welfare sectors like labour, transport and technical education was remarkable.
